Fresh New Start.

I've neglected this blog for a very long time.
To be honest I'm really not sure why, I have a lot of fun writing it, but not a lot of time or... bother to dedicate much, or rather ANY time to doing it.

However-- I have been away overseas for 9 weeks in Paris and England and have a new outlook on lots of things. I sort of wished I had kept writing in the blog to be able to update it and not look pathetic. While I was gone a lot of amazing things happened and a terrible thing as well. When Alexander McQueen died, I apparently sat still for half an hour. It was shocking to hear, he was my favorite ready to wear designer (I'm not just claiming that now). I was horrified by the circumstances and was unable to pull myself into gear for days and days. I was overseas in Paris knowing full well that I shouldn't be so glum in such a city. I can look back on it now and be able to type away, still with a sense of sadness, but there was a massive relief and weight off my shoulders when I realized that I am SO AMAZINGLY FORTUNATE to have a man like Lee exist and that i was old enough and interested enough to see the surreal and beauty that was his clothes (even if just through a computer screen). I don't think there is any point in including pictures in this belated post as i haven't been persistent enough to give this blog attention for months. I can say though that my favorite collections of his have been "Picnic at hanging rock" and "The girl who lived in the tree". He was an incredible man, his clothes gave me butterflies, and those collections always will even in years to come when i'm looking through pictures saved in a folder on my computer of them.

So with that said (I could have written more passionately at the time, but right now i just feel upset re-thinking about it) I plan to write in this blog more often, but we'll see. I'm sorry that this new but belated post is... rather depressing.
